Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 24, 2026
VoltzFire respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle information collected through voltzfire.com, our project newsletter, and emails sent to our team. It does not cover future apps or services, which may have separate privacy notices.
Information we collect
When you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address and information associated with your subscription, such as confirmation and unsubscribe status.
When you email us, we receive your email address, your message, and any information or attachments you choose to provide.
Our website is hosted by Squarespace. To operate and protect the website and provide analytics, Squarespace may process technical information such as your browser, device, IP address, pages visited, and referring website. Disabling our visitor Activity log does not eliminate all technical processing by Squarespace.
How we use information
We use information to:
Send project news, development updates, and launch announcements to subscribers.
Respond to questions and inquiries.
Operate, secure, and improve our website.
Manage subscription preferences and prevent unwanted email.
Subscribing to updates does not create a VoltzFire player account.
Services we use
We use Squarespace to host our website, manage newsletter subscriptions, and send emails. We use Google Workspace, including Google Groups, to receive and manage messages sent to our company contact address.
These providers process information needed to deliver their services. Their privacy practices are described in the Squarespace Privacy Policy and Google Privacy Policy.
We may also disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect our rights, users, or services.
Cookies and website analytics
Our website uses essential cookies for functionality and security. With your permission, it may also use non-essential cookies for Squarespace analytics.
You can accept, decline, or manage non-essential cookies through our cookie banner and revisit your choice through the website’s cookie preferences control. Essential cookies remain necessary for certain website functions.
We have disabled Squarespace’s visitor Activity log. We have not installed Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or custom advertising trackers on this website.
Newsletter preferences
You can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in our newsletter emails or by contacting contact@voltzfire.com.
Unsubscribing stops future newsletter messages. We may retain a limited record of your unsubscribe preference to help prevent further marketing emails.
How long we keep information
We retain subscriber information while you remain subscribed and as needed to manage your preferences. We retain contact correspondence for as long as reasonably needed to respond to inquiries and maintain relevant business records.
Some information may be retained longer for legal obligations, security, backups, or suppression of unsubscribed addresses. Retention by service providers also depends on their systems and applicable terms.
Your choices and requests
You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you. Depending on your location, you may have additional privacy rights.
We may need to verify your identity before handling a request. Certain records may be retained where required or permitted by law.
Young visitors
Parents and guardians should manage newsletter signups and inquiries on behalf of children under 13. Children under 13 should not submit personal information through this website.
If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, please contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our website and practices change. We will post revisions here and update the date above.
